Block of the Month

As we approach the 150 year commemoration of the Civil War, Marcus Brothers Textiles has partnered with Judie Rothermel and Homestead Hearth to create a block of the month program featuring classic quilt blocks and variations.  The fabric collection, Judie Rothermel’s Civil War Tribute Collection, encompasses a wide palette and the pattern includes historical references to featured battles. The finished quilt will measure 100” x 112” and is divided into 12 monthly installments.  All fabric for the quilt top and binding (48 different prints!) are included. 

We are structuring the project as a pick up block of the month – no monthly meetings, come in any time during the month to get your block.  As always if you have questions we are available to help you out. 

To sign up we ask that you prepay one month’s kit fee of $23.50.  The final month there will be no fee due at pick up as you have already pre-paid for that month!  The first month’s kit will be available in January, but we cannot provide an exact date as there have been some manufacturer delays on fabric shipments.
