Signs of Summer

Flowers, salad fixin’s, and even
some bugs all in the colors of summer make a beautiful summer strip quilt that
is sure to please!
The pattern and strip collection is
a collaborative effort - Amy, Michelle Hiatt and I had a little free time one
afternoon and the creative juices just started to flow! Two days later a quilt
was born. It uses 78 - 2" strips (2 each of 39 different fabrics)
for the body of the quilt and the piano key outer border. Additional yardage
required is only 2 3/4 yards. (1 ½
yards for setting squares and triangles; ½ yard for the inner border;
and 3/4 yard for the binding.)
Cost? $50 plus tax is the cost for the 78 die cut 2" by WOF
strips and the pattern. This number of
strips is enough for the 65" x 90" quilt. The quilt will only be
offered in one size.
Additional Yardage? The amount of additional yardage needed is 2 3/4 yards for
setting squares and triangles, inner border, and the binding.
Do I Need to Sign Up? Yes- We are taking sign-ups now. If you sign up before Sunday,
May 11 you will receive a $5 discount on the strips and the pattern (i.e.
$45 rather than $50. Punch cards do
not apply.) You may sign up after
the 11th but the discount will no longer apply.
You may sign up by phone. We
prefer that you pay at time of sign up. You may choose your additional fabric at
any time.
When Will I Be Able To Pick Up The
Strips? The strips and pattern will be
available on Saturday, May 24th. Amy will offer a short demonstration on May
24 at 11am, but it is not required that you attend. (You may want to make a special effort to
come in though because of the show and tell!

Can I Bring My Other Strip Club
Quilts In For Show And Tell? Absolutely!! If you have not already done so, please bring
in any of our other strip club quilts for show and tell.
If I Don't Remember To Sign Up, Can
I Still Participate? Yes.
We will have a limited number of extra strip sets and patterns
available, first come, first serve.
Please stop by the shop to see the
sample quilt, and get stripping!
